Dynamic DNS

If you want to be able to access your computer from outside your home (such as accessing your home computer from your workplace, or running a web or game server), but your ISP doesn't give you a static IP address, you need dynamic DNS.

There are many providers who offer dynamic dns for certain pre-defined domains. I have used DynDNS.org for a long time and that is an option for you.

What Lime Daley can offer you is dynamic dns for any domain name, provided we are doing all of your DNS hosting. If you sign up for dynamic hosting, you will receive a password for updating your machine's IP address. You simply use a provided script that can automatically run whenever your IP address changes, and your machine will then be accessible with your domain name.

Time-to-live (TTL) can be set as low as 5 seconds.
