Don't we have a two level tab menu too? We can't unfortunately have  
all of the second-level tabs in the same row (i.e. when you click  
"manage") becuase there's way too many of them.

I think it's a matter of taste. I work with a 1280x800 (13.3 inches)  
screen and I hate to see things bigger than they should be.

I thought we were talking about usability, not features. "Widgets"  
are what was commonly known as "blocks" in the postnuke era, and they  
were considered lame back then. But now that WP has them, they're  
cool again.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it? I think the flexible  
and minimalistic layout of 1.2 is a huge leap forward for us and  
unless you're more specific, I don't see what makes WP more "stylish".

Yes it can be better, but it doesn't help much to say that the  
competition is "stylish". I really thought we were going to discuss  
about usability, which is a pretty exact and well researched subject,  
rather than "style". I don't mean to discourage you from sending  
feedback but this is not exactly what I was expecting.
