 	I do not have the validate trackbacks.  I have these plugins 
installed:

authentication - not used - I'm still hope to get the {dynamic} tag to
                - work, so I leave it here to inspire me to go work on it
                - some day
badbehavior
categorybrowser
editcomments
recentcomments
authimage
blogstatistics - only use a little bit of it, same {dynamic} problem.
cookie         - I don't think I ever released it, but all it does
                - is grab a cookie from the client, I used to use it
                - so people could pick which stylesheet they wanted to
                - use, but again {dynamic} is required to make it work
                - now.

So, I don't think any of these should be breaking anything.
