[pLog-svn] dynamic blog settings?

Presumably they wouldn't change it often (or more than once),
correct. I don't know if I want to limit it to registration though.
I am not sure what your last sentence means. When you say
"non-admin blog user" do you mean non-site admin? Then yes, the blog
owner can change his url. (perhaps this feature should be restricted to
blog owner? I hadn't considered the case where there are multiple users
per blog, and perhaps other non-owners should have less permissions than
the owner, though I think we don't usually have that distinction.
There are two scenarios where this would be used.

The simple one is the site-admin types in only his domain in the
available_subdomains field. Then people can choose whatever
(non-conflicting) subdomain they want. This way people can have a
different URL than the blogname or username, which some people like. (I
just realized that when signing up for a blog, we need to check the
currently assigned subdomains to make sure there isn't a conflict in the
other direction too)

The complex one is when the site-admin types in a '?' in the available
domains. Then, any user can specify any domain he wants in the blog
settings, as long as that domain is pointing to the current ip (and
perhaps the validator could check the dns, and at least give a warning if
the dns isn't right). So, I could host limedaley.com, groshlink.net,
sca.salemsattic.com and jon.limedaley.com all on the same lifetype
installation, with myself as the site admin, and all other users as blog
owners.

Now does it make sense?
