That might make things easier - though people will need to have
fancier modrewrite rules when they want to do tricky things - or at least,
they need the same rules as they do now to avoid 404 errors.

Yes, the quick look that I just did includes everything. I don't
think much has been done in 1.1 for resources? That is by far the
heaviest cpu load in lifetype - at least from my empirical data, the blogs
that have resources use way more resources than the blogs that don't have
any.
