HI Glen:

See SVN revision 3292.

Now, the pre-select result will keeped, now matter how many items you
selected before you add category.

About the order of categories when you add through the Ajax, I don't want to
change it .. Because looks more clean and intuitive.

Mark

1. If you add the category in the edit/new post view, that means you want to
use that category in your post. So, I add it to the top of list, and let you
see you already add it without any problem.

Yeah, I like that it selects the category you just created. However, it
won't go back to the default category after a refresh. At least in my
install :)

Also, if you have a post that is under the default category and you edit the
post after you've created a new category, the post will be listed under the
new category, instead of the default. Does that make sense? I think I just
confused myself...

Ok, there's a couple things with the auto-adding categories.

1.) The newly added category goes to the top of the list, over the default.
It then becomes the default category.
2.) When editing a post, the category reverts back to the last-added
category, not the default.
