use that category in your post. So, I add it to the top of list, and let you
see you already add it without any problem.


Yeah, I like that it selects the category you just created.  However, it
won't go back to the default category after a refresh.  At least in my
install :) 
 
Are you sure? What version you used, I just test it in a fresh instllation,
it works as I said.  You can change the order throught the blogsetting, are
you sure you did not change the category order?

Also, if you have a post that is under the default category and you edit the
post after you've created a new category, the post will be listed under the
new category, instead of the default.  Does that make sense?  I think I just
confused myself...  
 
As I said, when you create a category in these two views, that means you
need it at that moment.... So, I keep then in the frist order, even before
default, and preselect them.

Ok, there's a couple things with the auto-adding categories.

1.) The newly added category goes to the top of the list, over the default.
It then becomes the default category.
2.) When editing a post, the category reverts back to the last-added
category, not the default.
