 	It doesn't save on resources, it is actually worse on resources, 
since deleted items stick around for longer than they might.  A user might 
accidentally click on the delete button, so we would have to have a 
confirmation of whether they really want to delete the post or not.
 	I think this system is better for users, and slightly more work 
for admins, though it isn't that much work for admins, so I think it is a 
pretty good system.
