Hi Armin:

I think you can just do the upgrade, the wizard will take care of
everything.

The only one problem will be your plugins & templates, you have to upgrade
them manually after your core upgrade to 1.2.

I will suggest after upgrade your plog 1.0.1 to lifetype 1.2.x, switch your
template to standard templates first, and upgrade your plugins or templates
one by one.
