If it's up to me, and after listening to all opinions, I would take a  
solomonic decision and leave things as they are.

My reasoning is that if this "pipeline running twice" issue only has  
the effect of causing comments to be added twice to the bayesian  
tables, it is isn't so bad after all and we can live with it. We're  
just going to see double occurrences of terms in the bayesian tables,  
but that's ok because it's happening both for spam and non-spam data  
(if I'm not mistaken) so they seem to cancel each other out :)

On top of that, I can't recall any other plugin being really affected  
by this, so I would just document it as a "side effect" and leave it  
as it is.

Perhaps we should lower our levels of perfectionism :) We could have  
coded a lot of stuff for LT 2.0 in the time we've spent thinking and  
discussing about this!

But feel free to challenge me, of course.
