I tested your changes and they did not make any difference, passwords  
are not stored in the session and I need to type them every time  
(both with the 'secret' and 'secretblog' plugins)

But I think there is something wrong with my PHP. I was looking at  
the session files created in the /tmp folder and every time the  
plugin tries to set a value in the session, the whole session file is  
reset to zero and I get a segmentation fault from the apache child  
that processed the request.
