I don't think I understand your request and how it would be easier
for us to handle everything, but the idea is that all modules in the
repository follow the same organization: trunk/ for the bleeding
edge, tags/ for tagged stuff and branches/ for on-going maintenance
work.
Then regarding templates in 1.2, I must have forgotten to move all
the unported ones to the unported/ folder as I did with plugins a
while ago. I'm going to do it now right away... Sorry about that.
