I have a show_in_summary field in the blogs table of my 1.0.3 install...
(not sure but I think I upgraded this db since 0.3.2 and never removed
any tables manually... only the wizard touched those ;)

- check if allow_url_fopen is set to on
- check upload capabilities (incl. some reasonable upload limits and
post_max_size limits)
- very nice would be to check how the www user is set up. Imo there are
to major setups for shared hosting providers that are popular:
a) everything runs under usernameuser:usernamegroup -> no problems with
access rights
b) user ftp runs under usernameuser:somegroup, apache runs under
webuser:webgroup -> this results some times in inaccessible tmp files,
that users cannot remove without the help of the provider or some
handmade scripts chmodding access. IMO a check and/or detection while
writing to tmp/ or gallery/ would be nice.
