So, there we have it. Since the number of issues reported in Mantis  
has gone down remarkably lately, there's no need to hold this release  
back any longer. I think the code looks good enough and we will  
continue working on it anyway for the next 2-4 weeks (plus as many  
more betas as needed)

Now let's hope users update their templates, plugins and locales and  
report anything they find...
