Soon after my fiance and I began dating, we were driving to the
movies when he slammed on the brakes to avoid something in the road.
He immediately put his hand out in front of me as if to protect me
from hitting the windshield.  As I was thinking how sweet this was,
he looked over and said, "You can tell I'm used to having my
book bag in the front seat, can't you?"
