Another Mac zea... :P Don't forget Apple also makes beautiful and shiny
things ... my precious ... my treasure ... just kidding :D

Having a PC laptop which is your case I recommend you to try latest
Ubuntu version (called Breezy, you can download the preview iso), it
isn't as beautiful as OSX but it does the job, it recognizes all my
laptop hardware perfectly and it evens suspends/resume or hibernates :)
