Let's not jump the gun too fast :)

Francesc referred to "smarty errors" because they usually appear at
some point when rendering the template, but it doesn't necessarily
mean that Smarty is the culprit! (which it certainly isn't)

But Ben, we have got a few cases in mantis about memory usage, check
it out for yourself :)

Regarding the checks in the wizard, I agree. In fact there is already
a mantis issue added by Mark related to adding several checks to the
wizard.php script: http://bugs.plogworld.net/view.php?id=432. I
suppose we could discuss these additions in there.

As for reverting somebody's changes, well (sh)it happens... I've told
everyone that when in doubt, do not commit but please ask first. I
even don't commit my own changes right away until I am completely
sure.

And finally, we could investigate simple ways to reduce the memory
usage in 1.0.2. Reto's suggestion about passing parameters by
reference is a good start... If anybody knows other ways, we can
discuss about it.
