well it wasn't really necessary. The $blogtemplate variable is only 
defined when fetching blog templates, and it is not defined anywhere 
else (summary templates, or wizard templates, etc)

I have reverted the summary myself in rev r1226... No worries, I 
usually keep an eye on commits but somehow this one slipped under my 
radar! :-)
