No I am not too worried about the admin, I think we shouldn't
concentrate too much on it (and because if we optimize all the DAO
classes, the admin interface will also be improved as a nice "side
effect" :))

But we should look into improving the performance of uncached pages,
mainly because of the amount of SQL queries and because of the amount
of memory used...
