[pLog-general] Username Validator

Hi all,

I need to loosen up the username validation regular expression since we 
already have usernames on other systems, the regex is in 
class/data/validator/usernamevalidator.class.php

define( "ONLY_ALPHANUMERIC_REGEXP", "^([A-Za-z0-9]*)$" );

I need to change it to

define( "ONLY_ALPHANUMERIC_REGEXP", 
"^([A-Za-z0-9]+[A-Za-z0-9._-]*[A-Za-z0-9]+)$" );

is that the only place I should change it in? because that didn't work.
Would such a change break anything? Would it open the way for some 
security issues? what comes to mind is the username 'admin.php' for an 
example.
