Hi Oscar:

1. I need to do this becacsue I heard some pLogger in Taiwan already attack
by comment spam bots, so... I have to do this.... :( 2. Actually, I already
done the easist one "recent comments". But can you give me a simple example
that can handle plugin-template/locale ... I did not see plugins come with
1.0 3. I already setup a plog plugin development testing site, and I will
post 1.0 plugin update here .... I will remain this site in english
http://plogdev.markplace.net/ , then I think all of us can know the progress
of porting without any translation, but, need need some volunteer to help me
to correct my english grammer and spelling. :D 4. I survey blogchina for a
while, and also discuss with Francesc about some new features that BlogChina
does ... I will post the discussion here for further discussion.
5. So, how can I do the function that I request in 1.0? Use the "event"
trigger?? It indeed easier then 0.32 ...

Hi,

at the moment it is quite unlikely that this will ever make it into the
core... But there is no need to worry, this can be added as a plugin that
will register a custom filter that will check for new comments.

It would only need your plugin to register a filter in the pipeline.
Your custom field will then check whether we are trying to add a comment and
if so, check the authentication code printed in the image and compare it to
what the user in the text area. If they match, everythign will proceed as
normal and if not, plugins are allowed via filters to alter the workflow of
the operation and in this case, stopping the addition of the comment to the
database.

I can give you more information related to this if needed...

Also in a more general note, how about we stop hacking forever 0.3.x and
start working on cool plugins for 1.0? :-)
