Hi Oscar:

I test it. It works well under IE6. I use the same javascript (quicktag) in
comment form. You can reference the quicktag hack in plugin forum.

Regards, Mark

Subject: [pLog-general] Help testing

Hi,

some people have requested a non-wysiwyg editor of html code, in a way that
it would provide buttons or icons like htmlarea and automatically generate
the right markup for the user. I tried using wordpress'
solution for this problem but it didn't work very well with more than one
textarea in the same page so I ended up writing my own:

I'd like to ask you whether you could give it a quick try in your favourite
browser and see if it works well. In modern browsers with support for
selections like Firefox/Mozilla and IE, try also selecting text and clicking
the markup buttons on top. In browsers like Opera and Safari, it will just
add the text in the end of the current contents of the textarea.

It still has some issues with the toolbar (some times the icon will appear
checked when it shouldn't, etc), but I'm interested in hearning about
unexpected behaviours or strange problems.

Thanks!

Oscar
